Central to North Serengeti

After breakfast, set off on a scenic game drive northward through the Serengeti, heading towards the Mara River, the stage for one of nature’s greatest spectacles—the Great Wildebeest Migration.

As you journey through the park, keep your eyes open for predators on the move, elephants crossing the open plains, and graceful giraffes silhouetted against the horizon. By midday, reach the Northern Serengeti, a remote and wildlife-rich region. During the migration season, typically July to October, the area can come alive with large herds of wildebeest and zebras gathering near the Mara River, where dramatic river crossings may occur.

Spend the afternoon exploring the area and following the movement of the herds before heading to your tented camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

After an early breakfast, head out for a half-day game drive in the Northern Serengeti, exploring the rolling plains and riverbanks where wildlife thrives in abundance. Keep an eye out for lions lounging in the grass, herds of elephants moving gracefully across the plains, and, if the timing allows, the last crossings of the Great Migration along the Mara River.

By midday, begin your journey back towards Central Serengeti, enjoying a leisurely game drive en route. This scenic transition offers more opportunities to spot predators and plains game in their natural rhythm. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for dinner and overnight, surrounded once again by the timeless beauty of the Serengeti.
