Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Arusha for a 2–3 hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This small but incredibly scenic park offers breathtaking views and a wide variety of habitats including acacia woodlands, groundwater forests, baobab-strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. Despite its size, the park supports a large number of animal species and impressive birdlife. Lake Manyara is famous for having the largest concentration of baboons in the world and for its unique tree-climbing lions. During your game drive, you may also spot elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, and many other animals. In the late afternoon, you will head to your mid-range lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
