1-Day Materuni Waterfall Hike with Coffee Farm Visit

Morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi followed by a scenic drive to Materuni Village. Upon arrival, meet your local guide for a briefing before beginning the hike through green hills, banana plantations, and small farms. The walk takes approximately 45–60 minutes and is moderate, offering beautiful viewpoints and insights into local village life.

Arrive at the impressive waterfall cascading from over 80 meters. Enjoy time to relax, take photographs, or swim in the natural pool beneath the falls. The cool mountain air and surrounding vegetation create a peaceful atmosphere.

After the hike, proceed to a nearby coffee farm for a traditional Chagga coffee-making experience. Learn about the entire process—from harvesting and drying to roasting and pounding the beans in a traditional mortar. Participate in the preparation and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of organic coffee.

Late afternoon return transfer to your hotel.
