Arrival in Arusha to Serengeti NP

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha. Drive to the Serengeti National Park, passing through scenic landscapes and local villages along the way.

Upon arrival, embark on your first afternoon game drive, exploring the vast plains and spotting zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and possibly lions or cheetahs.

In the evening, arrive at the shared campsite, set up your tent, enjoy dinner, and fall asleep under the African stars.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Spend the morning and early afternoon on game drives in the Serengeti, exploring different areas of the park. Your guide will help you spot the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros—as well as other wildlife like hyenas and warthogs. Lunch is served during the game drive.

In the late afternoon, depart the Serengeti and drive to Karatu, a town at the foothills of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Check into the campsite, have dinner, and prepare for the next day’s crater adventure.

Ngorongoro crater to Arusha

Rise early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Spend the morning on a game drive, seeing lions, elephants, hippos, buffalo, and flamingos in a spectacular volcanic caldera.

Afterward, begin the scenic drive back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro Airport, concluding your 3-day shared safari.
