Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am, we will drive to Tarangire National Park (2 hours drive) famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees and having the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country. It provides unique chances to observe the interactions between elephant families. We will do a game drive through the park depending on where they are reported sightings of animals (mostly predators, lions, cheetah and leopards as they are harder to spot)

Later on, we will go to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals while having lunch. Small monkeys and baboons will try to scare you off your lunch but there is nothing to worry about.
After lunch, proceed with the game drive to the evening before camping in Tarangire in a few crowds camp unlike central Serengeti camps its a pure wild camping experience.

Day 2

Mto Wa Mbu

Mto Wa Mbu

In the morning, we’ll set out on a cultural cycling tour around Mto wa Mbu, riding through small villages where you’ll see banana farms, rice plantations, and meet members of the local community. During lunchtime, you’ll enjoy a traditional local meal prepared in the village.

The route also takes us through nearby forests and past beautiful waterfalls before we return to the lodge in the evening.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will depart from Mto wa Mbu and drive to Serengeti National Park. The journey takes approximately six hours, including scenic stops, as you pass through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Along the way, there is an optional visit to a traditional Maasai village (not included in the tour price). This cultural experience offers insight into the heritage and customs of the Maasai community. While some historic practices are no longer observed, visitors can still learn about their traditions, lifestyle, and unique customs.

You will arrive in the late afternoon and continue with a game drive in the Seronera area (central Serengeti) until early evening. Enjoy the stunning Serengeti sunset while observing wildlife in their natural habitat. With a bit of luck you may witness predators on the move or even a hunt. Setting up camp, fire management, cooking.

Day 4

Central Serengeti National Park

Central Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast at 6:30 a.m., you will set out for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti National Park, one of the best times to spot active wildlife. You’ll continue exploring the plains until early afternoon, when you’ll return to camp for lunch and to pack up.

Later, you’ll enjoy another game drive as you exit the Serengeti and travel toward Simba Campsite, located near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater (approximately a two-hour drive). Keep your camera ready, as wildlife is often seen even around the campsite.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the crater at 6:15 a.m. for a morning game drive, with a special focus on spotting the rare black rhino. Rhinos are among the most difficult animals to see here, while many other species are easier to locate due to the crater’s open floor and natural enclosure.

After lunch, you will continue with a short game drive before ascending from the crater floor at around 12:45 p.m. You will then return to camp to pack up before beginning your journey back to Arusha.

After the safari, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Airport transfer is also included.
