Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and diverse birdlife along the Tarangire River. In the late afternoon, transfer to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge.

Arriving in Ndutu, you’ll begin your first game drive across the short-grass plains. During calving season, this area becomes a wildlife hotspot, with thousands of wildebeest and zebras gathering to give birth.

Today is the highlight of your Tanzania safari tour—a full day dedicated to exploring the Ndutu plains during peak calving season. This is one of the most dramatic wildlife events in the world. During peak months, up to 8,000 wildebeest calves can be born in a single day. You’ll witness newborn animals taking their first steps within minutes of birth, guided instinctively by their mothers.
At the same time, predators are highly active. Cheetahs sprint across the plains, lions patrol the herds, and hyenas wait for opportunities—creating raw, real moments of nature that are unforgettable.
