Your safari begins in the morning with pickup from your lodge or Arusha airport by your professional driver-guide. From there, you journey south toward the baobab-dotted wilderness of Tarangire National Park.
The drive takes you across the scenic Maasai plains, open savannah and acacia trees — a beautiful introduction to Tanzania’s cultural landscape.
Upon entering Tarangire, the adventure truly begins. Known for its massive elephant herds and iconic ancient baobabs, the park offers rich wildlife viewing year-round. With the open roof of your safari vehicle, you’ll explore sweeping grasslands, seasonal swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River — a magnet for wildlife.
Expect to encounter elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffalo, and, with luck, lions or leopards resting in the shade. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.
In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for the lush and diverse Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Though compact in size, Manyara offers remarkable ecological variety. The shallow alkaline lake attracts thousands of flamingos (seasonal) and more than 500 bird species. The groundwater forest near the entrance is home to playful blue monkeys and baboons, while the open plains host giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and elephants.
Lake Manyara is also famous for its elusive tree-climbing lions, occasionally seen resting along acacia branches — a rare and special sight.
After a scenic game drive and picnic lunch, begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon where you will be dropped off at your hotel or Arusha Airport.
