You will be picked up early from Kigali by your professional guide from Satellite Adventures and drive southwest toward the Katuna border, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. After crossing into Uganda at Katuna, continue through lush countryside en route to Bwindi Impenetrable or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. By late afternoon, you will arrive at your lodge, check in, and enjoy dinner. The evening includes a briefing about the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure, preparing you for an unforgettable encounter.

Gorilla Trekking Adventure

After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Accompanied by experienced trackers, you will trek through the dense forest to locate your assigned gorilla family. Spend up to one hour observing, photographing, and marveling at these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
