Day 1

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The drive offers your first glimpse of northern Tanzania’s landscapes, with views of local villages and the surrounding countryside.

Arusha is the safari capital of Tanzania and the gateway to the famous Northern Circuit parks. Upon arrival at the hotel, check in and take time to relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy the lodge facilities or a short walk around the town.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive toward Tarangire National Park, located approximately two hours away. The park is famous for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant herds, often seen gathering near the Tarangire River.

Upon entering the park, begin a full game drive exploring its diverse habitats, including open savannahs, seasonal swamps, and acacia woodlands. The Tarangire River serves as a vital water source for wildlife, attracting large numbers of animals during the dry season. During the game drive, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and various antelope species, as well as predators such as lions and occasionally leopards.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while observing wildlife along the riverbanks. In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Dinner and overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge.

Day 3

Karatu – Central Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart Karatu and drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the world-renowned Serengeti National Park.

Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of the Ngorongoro Highlands and the vast plains that stretch endlessly into the Serengeti. As you enter the park, begin an exciting game drive en route to the Seronera region in Central Serengeti, one of the richest wildlife habitats in Africa.

The Seronera Valley is known for its permanent water sources that attract animals year-round, making it an excellent location for spotting predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Large herds of zebras, gazelles, and wildebeests are commonly seen grazing across the plains.

Arrive at camp in the late afternoon, followed by dinner and overnight at Sero Tented Camp.

Game Drive in Serengeti

Today is dedicated to exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. The Serengeti ecosystem is home to one of the largest concentrations of wildlife on Earth and is famous for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing.

During your game drives, your experienced guide will take you to different areas of the park in search of wildlife. You may witness prides of lions resting under acacia trees, cheetahs scanning the plains for prey, and large herds of elephants roaming the savannah.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness while surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Serengeti. In the late afternoon, continue with game viewing before returning to camp.

Another Day Exploring the Serengeti

After breakfast, depart for another full day of exploration in Central Serengeti. Early morning game drives provide excellent opportunities to see predators during their most active hours, as well as witness the breathtaking African sunrise across the plains.

Your guide will lead you through different parts of the park, exploring areas rich in wildlife and offering excellent photographic opportunities. Along the way, you may encounter hippos in river pools, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and large herds of antelope grazing across the grasslands.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day before continuing with afternoon wildlife viewing. As the sun begins to set over the Serengeti, return to camp for relaxation.

Day 6

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s largest intact volcanic calderas.

Descend approximately 600 meters to the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive. The crater is home to an extraordinary density of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the famous hippo pool while observing hippos relaxing in the water and birds gathering along the shore. After lunch, continue exploring the crater floor before ascending the crater rim in the late afternoon.

Drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Farm of Dreams Lodge.

Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park located beneath the dramatic cliffs of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Lake Manyara is famous for its lush groundwater forests, large troops of baboons, and the unique tree-climbing lions occasionally spotted resting in acacia branches. The park is also home to elephants, giraffes, hippos, and numerous bird species including flamingos and pelicans along the lake shore.

Enjoy a scenic game drive through the park followed by a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, depart for Arusha.
