Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. This day is mainly for relaxing after your international journey. You can enjoy the peaceful environment of the lodge, prepare for the safari, and receive a short briefing from your guide about the adventure ahead. Dinner and overnight will be at your hotel in Arusha.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its beautiful landscapes and large populations of elephants. During the game drive you will explore areas around the Tarangire River where animals gather to drink. The park is also home to lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and many bird species. In the late afternoon, you leave the park and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, begin the journey toward Serengeti National Park through the scenic highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way you will enjoy beautiful landscapes and occasional wildlife sightings. As you enter the Serengeti, the scenery changes to vast open plains filled with wildlife. You will enjoy a game drive before arriving at your camp in Central Serengeti.

Full game drive in serengeti

Today is dedicated to exploring the famous Serengeti ecosystem. You will spend the day searching for wildlife across the endless plains where lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras are commonly seen. Your guide will help track animals and explain their behaviour while you enjoy the incredible scenery of the park.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Area

After breakfast and a final morning game drive in Serengeti, you begin the journey toward the Ngorongoro highlands. The drive offers more chances to see wildlife along the way. By afternoon you arrive at your lodge near the crater rim where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend about 600 meters into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater is one of the best places in Africa to see wildlife in a short time, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and sometimes the rare black rhino. After the game drive and lunch, you drive back to Arusha where the safari ends and go direct to the airport Kilimanjaro international airport.
