After breakfast, depart from Arusha for Tarangire National Park, approximately 120 km away, a scenic drive of about 2.5–3 hours through rolling highlands and rural villages. Upon arrival, embark on a full-day game drive across the park’s striking landscapes, including open savannahs, acacia woodlands, and the life-giving Tarangire River.
The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, graceful giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and a wide variety of bird species. Stop for a picnic lunch surrounded by ancient baobab trees and expansive plains. Enjoy an afternoon game drive across open plains, riverine forests, and rocky kopjes, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests.
