Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha, driving to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant populations, impressive baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts many animals throughout the year. Wildlife commonly seen includes elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and many bird species. After a picnic lunch and afternoon game drive, you leave the park and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Kankari Lodge.

Day 2
Karatu – Serengeti National Park
Karatu – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you depart Karatu and travel through the Ngorongoro highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Along the way you enjoy scenic views of the vast plains before entering the Serengeti. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive across the endless savannah where you may see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest. Dinner and overnight at Tukaone Tented Camp.

Day 3
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti, the best time to observe predators and other wildlife when animals are most active. After breakfast and a final game drive, you depart the Serengeti in the afternoon and drive toward the Ngorongoro highlands. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge located on the crater rim.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day wildlife safari. The crater is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and the rare black rhino. A picnic lunch is enjoyed near the hippo pool before continuing the game drive. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
