Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early morning breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park, one of northern Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. Upon arrival, you will start an exciting game drive through the park’s vast savannah dotted with iconic baobab trees and the winding Tarangire River.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and rich wildlife diversity. During the game drive, you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, leopards, and many species of antelope. The park is also a paradise for bird lovers, with hundreds of bird species found throughout the area. You will stop at a scenic spot to enjoy your packed lunch while surrounded by nature.

In the late afternoon, continue exploring the park before heading to Lilac Public Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay, resting under the African sky as you prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2

Transfer to Serengeti National Park (Central)

After breakfast, depart from the Tarangire area and journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the fertile highlands of Karatu and pass through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending into the vast Serengeti plains. As you enter the park, the landscape opens into endless savannah stretching as far as the eye can see.

Your destination is the wildlife-rich Seronera area in central Serengeti, known for its permanent water source, the Seronera River, which attracts a remarkable concentration of animals. After arriving and enjoying lunch, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive. This region offers excellent opportunities to spot both prey and predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles in their natural habitat.

As the sun begins to set over the plains, head to Nyani Public Campsite in the Seronera area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Wake up early in Serengeti National Park and enjoy a cup of coffee before heading out for an exciting sunrise game drive. Early morning is one of the best times to see wildlife as predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are still active, while herds of zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles graze across the plains. This game drive offers excellent opportunities to witness the natural interactions between predators and prey in their natural habitat.

Later in the morning, return to the campsite for brunch and some relaxation before checking out. You will then continue with a final game drive in the Serengeti as you make your way toward the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.

In the afternoon, arrive at the Ngorongoro highlands and check in at Simba Campsite, located on the crater rim. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay while surrounded by the cool air and stunning views of this world-famous natural wonder, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Day 4

After breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable crater game drive. Often called Africa’s “Garden of Eden,” the crater is one of the best places in Tanzania to see a high concentration of wildlife in a single day. With the guidance of your expert safari guide, you will explore the crater floor in search of the famous Big Five.

During the game drive, you are likely to encounter lions, large herds of buffalo, and elephants roaming the plains, while the endangered black rhino may also be spotted grazing in the distance. The crater is also home to many zebras and wildebeest, as well as predators such as spotted hyenas. The open landscapes provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the crater and continuing your exploration, you will ascend the crater walls in the afternoon and drive to Karatu Tented Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for the final day of your safari adventure. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, including lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the shores of the alkaline lake beneath the dramatic escarpment of the Great Rift Valley.

Lake Manyara is famous for its unique tree-climbing lions and is home to a wide variety of wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, and large troops of baboons. The park is also a paradise for bird lovers, offering excellent bird watching opportunities with species such as flamingos, ostriches, Egyptian geese, pelicans, and many more around the lake.

You will stop for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive and more bird watching. Later in the day, begin the journey back to Arusha, where your unforgettable safari adventure comes to an end.
