Day 2

Arusha - Lake Manyara

After breakfast, your professional safari guide will pick you up from the lodge with picnic lunch boxes and depart for Lake Manyara National Park. The journey takes approximately 2–3 hours, passing through scenic landscapes, local villages, and the fertile farmlands of northern Tanzania.

Upon arrival, you will begin your game drive through Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its beautiful scenery, diverse wildlife, and the alkaline lake that attracts large numbers of birds. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, baboons, and, with some luck, the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later, proceed to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, your professional safari guide will pick you up from your lodge with a picnic lunch and begin the scenic drive from Karatu to Serengeti National Park. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and across the stunning landscapes of northern Tanzania.

Upon entering the Serengeti, you will begin your first game drive, exploring the vast savannah plains in search of the park’s abundant wildlife. Depending on the season, you may witness large herds of wildebeest and zebra, along with lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and other wildlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day while continuing your game drive. In the late afternoon, proceed to your lodge or camp for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you'll drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Today you'll descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch.

Ngorongoro Crater is among the UNESCO World Heritage sites and is a conservation project where the Maasai society and their livestock live together with wild animals without harming one another. It constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world and is one of the natural wonders of Africa. with the presence of about 30,000 large mammals resident all year round such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, and many varieties of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be ready to see many animals here within a few times.

Once the game drives are done, you will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.
