Your adventure with Swahili Safari Escape begins with an early morning pick-up at 5:30 AM from your hotel in Moshi. After a short drive to Arusha, you will continue your journey toward Tarangire National Park, enjoying a scenic drive along the way with a picnic lunch during the trip. Tarangire, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful parks, is famous for its giant baobab trees and large herds of elephants.

The Tarangire River, the park’s main water source, attracts a wide variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and many antelope species. During the day you will enjoy exciting game drives across the vast savannah landscapes while searching for wildlife. In the late afternoon, you will head to your lodge where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner after an unforgettable day on safari.

On the final day of your safari with Swahili Safari Escape, you will begin early at 6:30 AM with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Spanning 260 square kilometers and over 2,000 feet deep, the crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including African elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. As you explore the crater floor during a 6-hour game drive, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the steep crater walls, open grasslands, and shimmering lakes. A picnic lunch by the scenic Hippo Pool offers a chance to relax and soak in the natural beauty, while keeping an eye out for the diverse animals that gather nearby. After your adventure, you will ascend the crater and begin the journey back to Arusha, arriving around 6:00 PM for drop-off at your hotel or preferred location, concluding a truly memorable Tanzanian safari experience.
