Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a city tour of Addis Ababa. Drive to Mount Entoto for panoramic views of the city. Continue to Merkato, the largest open-air market in Africa, where locals trade spices, coffee, and handicrafts. Then visit the National Museum of Ethiopia to see the famous fossil Lucy, dated about 3.2 million years old.

Day 2
Lalibela
Lalibela
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic connection to Lalibela, one of Ethiopia’s most sacred towns and an important center of Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity.
In the afternoon visit the northwestern group of the famous Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela, including Bete Medhane Alem, Bete Maryam, Bete Meskel, Bete Danaghel, Bete Mikael, and Bete Golgotha. These remarkable churches were carved directly from solid volcanic rock in the 12th century and are considered one of the greatest architectural and religious achievements in the world.

Gondar
Gondar
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic connection to Gondar, once the capital of the Ethiopian Empire and a city rich in history.
Explore the Fasil Ghebbi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with impressive medieval castles built by Ethiopian emperors. Visit Fasilides' Bath, a ceremonial site used during the colorful Timkat festival, and finish at Debre Berhan Selassie Church, renowned for its ceiling covered with hundreds of angelic faces, showcasing Ethiopia’s unique artistic heritage.

Bahir Dar
