Depart from Arusha after breakfast at around 8:00 AM and drive approximately 2–3 hours to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich parks. The journey passes through scenic Maasai plains, traditional villages, and open savannah landscapes.
Arrive at the park around 10:30–11:00 AM and begin your midday to afternoon game drive. Tarangire is famous for its ancient baobab trees and the life-giving Tarangire River, which attracts large concentrations of wildlife. The park is well known for its large elephant herds and diverse animals including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and various antelope species.
You may also spot predators such as leopards and cheetahs, along with impressive birdlife. Continue with game viewing until late afternoon (around 5:00–5:30 PM) before heading to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Karatu to Central serengeti national park
Karatu to Central serengeti national park
After breakfast in Karatu at around 8:00 AM, depart for Serengeti National Park, driving through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours (excluding game viewing stops) and offers spectacular views of the Ngorongoro highlands, Maasai landscapes, and vast open plains.
Around midday, you will enter the Serengeti and continue toward the Seronera area, where the scenery opens into endless savannah—one of Africa’s richest wildlife habitats. Enjoy an afternoon game drive where you may encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and various antelope species. The Seronera region is also well known for its high concentration of predators, including leopards and cheetahs.
By late afternoon (around 5:30–6:00 PM), you will head to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight, ending an exciting day in the heart of the Serengeti.

After breakfast in the Central Serengeti (Seronera), depart for the remote Northern Serengeti, a scenic drive of about 4–5 hours with game viewing along the way. As you travel through the vast plains of Serengeti National Park, you may encounter herds of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, and various antelopes.
The Northern Serengeti is famous for the dramatic Great Migration, especially near the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the river in search of fresh grazing. This area is also home to predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in this beautiful and less crowded wilderness before heading to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Nothern serengeti to Karatu
Nothern serengeti to Karatu
After an early breakfast at 7:00 AM in Northern Serengeti, begin your journey back toward Karatu. The drive takes approximately 6–7 hours, with en-route game viewing across the vast Serengeti plains.
Enjoy your final wildlife sightings of wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, and various antelope species, along with predators like lions and hyenas. Stop for a picnic lunch around midday in a scenic spot within the park.
Continue the drive in the afternoon, arriving in Karatu around 4:30–5:30 PM to check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

After breakfast at 7:00 AM in Ngorongoro Crater, begin your drive back to Arusha, which takes approximately 3–4 hours.
Before departing the crater rim, enjoy morning views of the stunning volcanic landscape and surrounding highlands. Descend from the crater area, passing scenic Maasai villages, rolling hills, and open savannahs along the way.
You may have brief stops for photos or to stretch, appreciating the unique rural landscapes of northern Tanzania. Arrive in Arusha around late morning to early afternoon (11:00 AM–12:00 PM), marking the end of your safari, where you can check in at your hotel or prepare for onward travel.
