Arrive at Arusha, the safari capital of northern Tanzania. Meet your professional safari guide and transfer to your lodge. Enjoy a relaxing evening, safari briefing, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Situated at the foothills of Mount Meru, Arusha is a vibrant town and the main gateway to Tanzania’s famous northern safari circuit. After your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide who will accompany you throughout the safari. During the transfer to your lodge, you will get your first glimpse of local life, bustling markets, and scenic landscapes that surround the town. Once at the lodge, take time to relax after your journey, enjoy the peaceful garden surroundings, and perhaps take a short walk around the property. In the evening, your guide will provide a detailed safari briefing, explaining the itinerary, wildlife highlights, and travel tips for the days ahead.

Day 2

Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive through the park’s diverse habitats, including open savannah, river valleys, and acacia woodlands. Tarangire is known for its high concentration of wildlife, especially during the dry season when animals gather along the Tarangire River, the park’s main water source. During the game drive you may spot elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and various antelope species.
