Walking Safari Experience
One of the most special activities in Arusha National Park is the guided walking safari. Unlike many other parks in Tanzania where safaris are mainly done by vehicle, Arusha National Park allows visitors to explore certain areas on foot while accompanied by a professional guide and an armed park.
The Momella Lakes attract a large variety of birdlife, including flamingos, pelicans, herons, and many other water birds, making the area a paradise for bird watchers and photographers. Wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and antelopes are also commonly seen grazing near the lakes
Arusha National Park is also famous for its monkeys, especially the rare Black-and-white colobus monkey.
