Journey to Tarangire National Park

Depending on your place of stay in Zanzibar, an early morning pick-up to Abeid Karume Airport for an hour flight to Arusha Airport shall take place, ready to kickstart the tour.

Following the airport pick-up at Arusha, you'll journey with experienced driver-guides on a three-hour scenic drive to Tarangire National Park.

The afternoon shall unfold with immersive game drives, revealing Tarangire’s iconic baobab-dotted plains, abundant wildlife, and a thriving elephant population.

With fewer vehicles than other Northern Circuit destinations, the park provides an unhurried safari atmosphere, enhanced during dry months when species gather around the Park's river for its water, ensuring survival.

A picnic lunch would be served inside the park during the game drive.

As the day concludes, you will have an hour drive from the park to Mamadunia Safari Lodge, a mid-range accommodation lodge set in nature’s tone, for dinner and night-stay — ready for the Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater - Nature's Crafted Colesseum

After an early wake-up at around 5 am, you'll have your breakfast before an hour drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ready for a 600m descent inside the Crater floor for a rare-rewarding game drive.

The enclosed Crater landscape supports dense wildlife populations across the varied habitats, delivering one of Africa’s most visually impressive safari settings.

A picnic lunch will be served during the six-hour game drive inside the Crater's spotted camp.

For the evening, the safari shall conclude with a brief return to Mamadunia lodge for a quick refreshment and check out, followed by a road transfer to Arusha Airport for a late flight back to Zanzibar.
