Drive Arba Minch – Konso – Jinka

In the morning you will visit Lake Chamo, famous for crocodiles and birdlife. Then you will travel to Konso to explore one of the UNESCO listed villages and they have very unique way of life and culture. Later you will continue to turmi for an overnight stay Emerald lodge.

Drive Turmi – Hamar Village

Today you will visit a Hamar village to learn about their traditions and daily life. The Hamar people are known for their distinctive hairstyles and body decorations. And depend on the tribe culture if you are lucky you have chance to see the bull jumping or wedding ceremonies. Overnight stay Emerald lodge.

Drive Turmi – Mursi – Addis Ababa

You will visit the Mursi tribe, known for the large lip plates worn by women. On the way you will visit ari tribes and they are very unique and small tribes After learning about their culture you will return to Jinka. Later you will fly back to Addis Ababa. Overnight stay Addis Ababa.

Fly Addis Ababa to semera

You will fly to Semera and begin the journey into the Danakil Depression. Along the way you will stop at Lake Afdera and enjoy the desert scenery and you have chance to swim in the salt lakes. In the evening you will camp near the salt flats. Overnight stay camping.

Drive Danakil Depression – Erta Ale Volcano

You will explore the colorful geothermal landscapes of Dallol and visit the Afar salt miners. Later you will travel across lava fields to reach Erta Ale volcano. At night you will hike to the crater to see the glowing lava lake. Overnight stay Camping.

Fly Semera – Addis Ababa
