Spend the morning (3–4 hours) on an exciting game drive, immersing yourself in this diverse and dense ecosystem.

Around midday, pause for a picnic lunch amidst the crater’s stunning scenery, then continue your adventure with an afternoon game drive, ascending toward the crater rim to enjoy spectacular panoramic vistas of the surrounding highlands.

Early in the morning, your safari guide will collect you from your lodge in Karatu. You’ll travel for approximately 3–4 hours along a scenic road that passes rolling hills, Maasai villages, and expansive plains dotted with iconic acacia trees, arriving at Tarangire National Park.

Once inside the park, settle comfortably in a cool, open-roof safari jeep and take in the breathtaking scenery of lush swamps, vast savannas, and the meandering Tarangire River. Keep your eyes peeled for a diverse array of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and hippos. With luck, you may also witness lions on the hunt or spot leopards resting high in the trees.

After a full day of thrilling game drives and unforgettable wildlife encounters, you will return to Arusha, completing your Tanzanian safari adventure.
