Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to the entrance of Marangu Gate, the main gateway to Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, you will complete park registration before starting your experience in the lush montane forest that surrounds the mountain.
Guests can enjoy a guided hiking or walking safari along beautiful forest trails, where you may spot colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, colorful birds, and unique vegetation. The peaceful walk allows you to experience the natural beauty of Kilimanjaro at a relaxed pace while learning about the mountain’s ecosystem and local culture from your guide.

Day 2
Mandara Hut-Horombo Hut

After breakfast at Mandara Hut, begin your hike toward Horombo Hut on Mount Kilimanjaro. The trail gradually leaves the dense rainforest behind and enters the open moorland zone, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscapes and unique high-altitude vegetation.
This scenic hiking and walking safari allows you to explore the changing ecosystems of the mountain while enjoying fresh air and peaceful surroundings. Day 3
Horombo Hut to Mawenzi-Ridge

After breakfast at Horombo Hut, you will begin a scenic hike toward Mawenzi Ridge on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. This route takes you through the beautiful alpine moorland zone, where the landscape becomes more rugged and dramatic.
During this hiking and walking safari, you will enjoy breathtaking views of Mawenzi Peak and the vast mountain plains. The trail offers a great opportunity to explore Kilimanjaro’s unique high-altitude vegetation, including giant lobelias and hardy mountain plants. Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

After an early breakfast at Horombo Hut, you will begin your journey toward Kibo Hut across the wide alpine desert of Mount Kilimanjaro. The trail passes through a dramatic landscape known as the Saddle, a vast high-altitude plain located between the peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi.
This stage offers a unique hiking and walking safari experience, where trekkers can enjoy the raw beauty of the mountain’s upper slopes. Although vegetation becomes sparse, the scenery is striking, with sweeping views of the surrounding peaks and open wilderness. Around midnight, begin the final ascent from Kibo Hut toward the summit of Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Guided by headlamps, you will hike slowly through the quiet alpine desert, passing Gilman’s Point on the crater rim before continuing along the scenic ridge to Uhuru Peak. Reaching the summit at sunrise offers unforgettable panoramic views above the clouds and a moment to celebrate your achievement. The activity of the day focuses mainly on summit hiking, with steady walking and short rest stops to acclimatize. After enjoying photos at the top, begin your descent back toward Kibo Hut for a rest. After breakfast and final farewells to your mountain crew, you will complete the last formalities at Marangu Gate, the main exit point of the Mount Kilimanjaro trekking route. Here you will receive your summit certificate if you reached the top, marking the successful completion of your Kilimanjaro adventure. Afterward, transfer by road back to Arusha, enjoying views of local villages, coffee and banana farms along the way. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be dropped off at your hotel for a well-deserved rest, a hot shower, and time to relax while reflecting on the unforgettable experience of climbing Africa’s highest mountain.
