Day 3

Horombo Hut to Mawenzi-Ridge

After breakfast at Horombo Hut, you will begin a scenic hike toward Mawenzi Ridge on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. This route takes you through the beautiful alpine moorland zone, where the landscape becomes more rugged and dramatic.

Day 4

Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

After an early breakfast at Horombo Hut, you will begin your journey toward Kibo Hut across the wide alpine desert of Mount Kilimanjaro. The trail passes through a dramatic landscape known as the Saddle, a vast high-altitude plain located between the peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi.
