Your climb begins at Machame Gate after registration at Kilimanjaro National Park. Trek through lush rainforest with tall trees, ferns, and wildlife. The trail gradually climbs to Machame Camp where you will spend your first night.

Day 2

Leave the rainforest behind and enter the moorland zone. The trail becomes steeper as you climb across rocky ridges and volcanic landscapes with spectacular views of the mountain.

Day 3
Shira Camp – Lava Tower – Barranco Camp
Shira Camp – Lava Tower – Barranco Camp
Trek toward the famous Lava Tower at 4,600 m before descending to Barranco Camp. This “climb high, sleep low” method improves acclimatization while offering breathtaking alpine scenery.

Day 4
Barranco Camp – Barafu Camp
Barranco Camp – Barafu Camp
Begin the day with the famous Barranco Wall scramble, a steep yet exciting climb that rewards trekkers with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and glaciers. After reaching the top, the trail continues across rugged ridges and rocky alpine terrain before arriving at Barafu Camp, the base camp for the summit attempt. Here climbers rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the midnight ascent to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 5
Barafu Camp – Summit – Mweka Camp
Barafu Camp – Summit – Mweka Camp
Your summit attempt begins around midnight. Climb to Stella Point and continue to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). After celebrating at the summit, descend to Mweka Camp for rest.

Descend through lush rainforest to Mweka Gate where you receive your summit certificate before transferring back to Moshi for rest and celebration.
