Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Batwa Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, you will meet your professional safari guide for a short briefing about your 2-day Bwindi Gorilla Safari. Along the way, you will stop at the Equator crossing for photos and a brief equator experience. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
The journey continues through rolling hills and rural communities as you approach the misty forests of Bwindi. Later in the day, you will take part in a guided cultural visit to the Batwa community, the indigenous forest people who once lived as hunter-gatherers lifestyle, forest survival skills, music, dance, and rich heritage. Explore community craft shops and interact with community members offering an authentic and respectful cultural experience. After your Batwa cultural experience, you will transfer to Ride 4 a Woman for check-in. The evening is spent relaxing in a peaceful community setting, enjoying a home-style dinner and learning about the inspiring work being done to empower women in the Bwindi region.

Gorilla Trekking Exepirence in Bwindi & Return to Kampala

After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides. During the briefing, you will be assigned a gorilla family and informed about trekking guidelines.
You will then enter the dense rainforest with your ranger guide and trackers, hiking through the forest in search of the mountain gorillas. The trekking time may range from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the location and movement of the gorilla family.
Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one magical hour observing them in their natural habitat, watching their interactions, learning about their behaviour.
After the trek, you will return to the park headquarters where you will receive a Gorilla Trekking Certificate to commemorate your experience. You will then begin the return drive to Kampala/Entebbe, arriving in the evening, marking the end of your unforgettable Bwindi Gorilla Safari.
