Day 1

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you travel toward the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes you through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, where you will stop at a scenic viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views of the valley floor.

Continue through the Maasai countryside arriving at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch. After some relaxation, depart for your first afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara.

During the safari you may see lions resting in the savannah, elephants moving across the plains, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and zebras and antelopes grazing in the open grasslands.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight. Meals: Lunch, Dinner.

Full Day Maasai Mara Safari – Big Five Wildlife Experience

After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for a full-day wildlife safari in the Maasai Mara.

The reserve is one of Africa’s best wildlife destinations and offers excellent chances of seeing the Big Five animals: lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos.

During the game drives, you may witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras grazing across the plains, lions hunting in the savannah, leopards resting in acacia trees, and elephants traveling in large family groups. Predators such as hyenas and jackals are also commonly seen searching for prey.

You may also choose to visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about the culture and lifestyle of the Maasai people.

Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha – Great Rift Valley Adventure

After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara and travel toward Lake Naivasha located in the heart of the Great Rift Valley. The drive offers scenic views of rural Kenya and beautiful landscapes.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon enjoy an optional boat safari on Lake Naivasha. During the boat ride you may see hippos resting in the water, African fish eagles catching fish, pelicans and cormorants along the shoreline, and beautiful views of the surrounding hills.

You may also visit Crescent Island for a walking safari where visitors can walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in a safe and peaceful environment. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru – Rhino and Flamingo Safari

After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife parks located within the Great Rift Valley.

Upon arrival begin a game drive exploring the park’s acacia forests, open grasslands, and lakeshore areas. Lake Nakuru is known for its successful rhino conservation program and large populations of flamingos and other bird species.

Wildlife often seen here includes white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions resting in the shade, buffalo grazing in the plains, and zebras near the lake. You will also visit Baboon Cliff viewpoint for spectacular views over Lake Nakuru.

Later, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Early morning is one of the best times to observe wildlife when animals are active and the light is perfect for photography.

You may see rhinos grazing in the grasslands, lions resting on rocky outcrops, giraffes walking across the plains, and flamingos feeding along the lake shores.

After breakfast at the lodge, check out and begin the journey back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon marking the end of your unforgettable Kenya wildlife safari.
