Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you travel southeast toward Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s oldest and largest national parks.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch followed by relaxation. In the afternoon depart for your first game drive across the vast savannah plains of Tsavo East.
The park is famous for its red elephants that often cover themselves with the park’s red soil.
During the safari you may also see lions resting in the bushes, giraffes browsing acacia trees, zebras grazing across the plains, and buffalo herds in open grasslands. You will also visit the famous Aruba Dam, an important water source where many animals gather.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Lunch, Dinner.

After breakfast depart with packed lunch for a full day wildlife safari in Tsavo East National Park. The park’s wide open plains provide excellent opportunities to see large wildlife herds and predators.
During the game drive you may see elephants covered in red dust, lions resting in shaded areas, leopards hiding among rocky terrain, and large buffalo herds grazing in the grasslands. Antelopes, gazelles, and numerous bird species are also commonly seen in the park.
You may also visit the Galana River where crocodiles and hippos are frequently spotted. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing the afternoon game drive.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

After breakfast depart Tsavo East and travel toward Tsavo West National Park, known for its dramatic landscapes, volcanic hills, lava flows, and natural springs.
Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive exploring the park’s scenic terrain which includes rocky outcrops, open plains, and acacia woodlands. Wildlife commonly seen includes elephants, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and various bird species.
You will also visit the famous Mzima Springs where crystal-clear pools allow visitors to observe hippos and crocodiles beneath the water.

During the game drives you may see lions resting in the shade, leopards hidden among rocks, elephants moving across the plains, and buffalo grazing near water sources. Crocodiles and hippos are also commonly seen in rivers and springs throughout the park.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness while observing wildlife before continuing the afternoon safari. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, one of the best times to observe wildlife activity in the park. Predators such as lions and leopards are often active during the early morning hours.
After the game drive return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and begin the journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy the scenic drive before arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable Tsavo safari experience.
