Wake up early for a refreshing morning in Amboseli National Park, when wildlife is most active and the soft golden light spreads across the plains. With clear skies, you may enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, creating one of Africa’s most iconic safari backdrops. Head out on a morning game drive to explore the park’s diverse habitats—open savannah, marshlands, and acacia woodlands.
Amboseli is especially famous for its large elephant herds, often seen walking gracefully across the dusty plains. During the drive, keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many bird species that thrive around the swamps fed by underground water from Kilimanjaro’s glaciers. Return to your lodge or camp for lunch and some relaxation

After breakfast, depart Amboseli National Park and begin a scenic drive through Kenya’s countryside toward the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy views of rolling hills, local villages, and expansive farmlands as you travel toward the freshwater lake of Lake Naivasha. Along the way, you may stop briefly at viewpoints overlooking the dramatic escarpments of the Great Rift Valley for photos and a stretch break.
Arrive in Naivasha around midday and check in at your lodge or camp near the lake.
