Arusha – Materuni Waterfalls

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or pickup in Arusha, you will meet your safari guide and drive to the village of Materuni on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Enjoy a guided walk through coffee farms and lush forest to the beautiful Materuni Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in the region. You may also experience a traditional Chagga coffee demonstration.

Later in the afternoon, you will drive to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Epic Grand Hotel.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

Enjoy a full game drive through the park where you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and many bird species. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, making it one of the best parks for animal viewing.

In the afternoon, drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Mto wa Mbu to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro highlands toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park.

Enjoy wildlife viewing along the way as you enter the endless plains of the Serengeti. The park is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and thousands of grazing animals.

Arrive in Central Serengeti for an afternoon game drive before heading to your camp.

Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Today you will enjoy a full day exploring the incredible wildlife of Serengeti National Park.

Your guide will take you to the best wildlife areas in search of predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards, as well as large herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles. Depending on the season, you may also witness parts of the famous Great Migration.

After an exciting day of game viewing, return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife areas.

Descend into the crater for a game drive where you may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and possibly the endangered black rhino. The crater is often called Africa’s Garden of Eden because of its high concentration of wildlife.

After the game drive and picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha Town / Kilimanjaro Airport, where the safari ends.
