Day 2
Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast in Karatu at the accommodation, you will set off on a scenic road transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable guided game drive across one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife havens.
The crater is known for its high concentration of animals, offering excellent chances to spot the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffalo, and the rare black rhino. As you explore the vast crater floor, take in the breathtaking landscapes while celebrating your special day surrounded by nature. Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater with stunning views all around.
In the later afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Farm of Dreams Lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After breakfast in Karatu, you will set off on a scenic road transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for an exciting guided game drive. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Great Rift Valley, the park offers rich and varied landscapes, from lush groundwater forests to open lake shores teeming with birdlife.
Lake Manyara is especially famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and vast flocks of flamingos that color the shoreline. As you explore, you may also encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many other wildlife species, making your birthday celebration truly special in the heart of nature. Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your game drive.
In the afternoon, you will begin your return journey, transferring to the airport for your flight back to Zanzibar, marking the end of a memorable safari adventure.
