Mt Longonot and Lake Naivasha

0700 hrs Pick-up from Nairobi city center, followed by a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, where you will enjoy a brief stop at the viewpoint for photos and panoramic views. Upon arrival at Mount Longonot National Park, you will embark on a challenging but rewarding hike up the slopes of the extinct volcano. The trail winds through forested areas before opening up to the crater rim, offering breathtaking views of the Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha. For those seeking more adventure, a walk around the crater rim is an option, adding to the thrill of the day. After the descent, you will proceed to Lake Naivasha for lunch and relaxation at your lodge. In the afternoon at leisure or at own cost - enjoy an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos, abundant birdlife, and enjoy the tranquil scenery of Crescent Island. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a lodge or camp in Naivasha.
