After breakfast, depart from Arusha or Moshi and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive through the park’s savannah and woodland habitats where you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and various bird species. Stop for a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.

After an early breakfast, drive to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, for a half-day game drive. Descend into the crater, one of Africa’s most unique wildlife habitats, where you may spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater and returning to Arusha or Moshi in the afternoon.
