Livingstone - Victoria Falls

Upon arrival at Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone, you will be met by your driver-guide and transferred to your lodge. Later you will visit Victoria Falls and go on a village tour to Mukuni. Rafting and rhino activities can be arranged at an additional cost. Meals at the lodge or at a restaurant in town are at your own cost.

Victoria Falls - Ngonye Falls

You will transfer to the western part of Zambia to visit Ngonye Falls, also known as Sioma Falls. This wide waterfall on the Zambezi River is known for its scenic rock formations and powerful cascades, offering stunning views and a peaceful, natural setting.

Ngonye Falls - Liuwa Plain National Park

We will drive to Liuwa Plain National Park in western Zambia, a vast grassland known for hosting Africa’s second-largest wildebeest migration. The area offers remote wilderness, rich birdlife, and opportunities to spot lions, hyenas, and other wildlife. We will stop in Mongu City to stock up on groceries for the next few days.

Liuwa Plain National Park - Mongu

We will pack up camp and drive to Mongu, the capital of Zambia’s Western Province, located on the Barotse Floodplain near the Zambezi River. Mongu is known for the Kuomboka ceremony of the Lozi people and its role as a cultural and administrative center. Before reaching the campsite, we will stop in the city to buy groceries for Kafue National Park.

Kafue National Park

Our focus over the next few days will be Kafue National Park, the largest and oldest national park in Zambia, known for its vast wilderness, diverse wildlife, and rich birdlife. Kafue features rivers, floodplains, woodlands, and many antelope species. We will visit the southern part of the park, which is rich in miombo trees.

Kafue National Park - Lusaka

This day marks the end of our trip. We will pack up camp and drive slowly out of the park toward Lusaka in central Zambia, enjoying a game drive along the way. We will stop in Mumbwa to buy some snacks and refuel the vehicle before continuing to Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, where the trip comes to an end.
