Day 1
You'll begin your adventure with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or airport as the city stirs to life. Enjoy a scenic drive toward Nanyuki, where Mount Kenya often dominates the horizon. Arrive at the conservancy around 9:00 AM and begin your first game drive across its wildlife-rich plains, home to elephants, rhinos, lions, giraffes, and large herds of antelope.
Midmorning, visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see rescued chimps, before continuing your drive through the quieter eastern areas in search of rare species like Grevy’s zebras and oryx.
You'll also visit the Endangered Species Boma to see the last two northern white rhinos and learn about the conservation work happening at Ol Pejeta. An afternoon game drive wraps up the experience before you exit the conservancy around 3:45 PM and begin the return journey to Nairobi, arriving back between 6:30 and 7:00 PM after a full, memorable, and educational wildlife adventure.
