Pick up and drive to Jinja – Source of the Nile

On landing at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transfer to Jinja with a drive through the beautiful Mabira Forest. Check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight. Depending on your arrival time, you will have a short tour around Entebbe.

White water rafting experience on the Nile River

After a delicious breakfast, you will go to Kalagala Falls for your white water rafting on the Nile River experiencing the thrill of navigating through rapids and enjoy the scenic views of the Source of the Nile.
After this amazing experience, you will return to your hotel for lunch, in the evening you will return back to Kampala with a drive through Mabira Forest- the biggest tropical forest in Uganda as well as tea and sugar cane plantations and see several roadside markets.
Have dinner and overnight after check-in at your hotel in Kampala.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Kampala and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park located in Southwestern Uganda, along the way you will have a stop at the Equator Crossing at Kayabwe for a water experiment, photography and a chance to stand in Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
You will have another stop in Mbarara for lunch, and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving in the evening, check-in at the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Gorilla Trekking Experience

Today is the climax of your 5 Days Uganda Safari, wake up early for breakfast then head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch boxes for briefing about gorilla trekking and the right way to behave while in the presence of the gorillas.
With your armed ranger guides, head into the misty forests of Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas. The trek takes approximately 2 to 5 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night. When you locate these Great Apes you will spend one hour in their presence, watch them play, feed and each other. You are free to take pictures as long as your flash light is off as it may startle the gorillas.
After this amazing experience, trek back to the starting point to meet your driver-guide and return to your lodge after picking your gorilla trekking certificates. You will spend the rest of the day at rest at your lodge reminiscing about the day’s adventure.

Departure

After your morning breakfast, you will embark on a journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara and a stop in Kayabwe for pictures. You will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for a late departure.
