Your adventure begins the moment you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport. A comfortable transfer will take you to Under the Shade Safari Lodge, set against the backdrop of Mount Meru. Spend your first day unwinding, enjoying the serene surroundings, and making use of the lodge’s amenities. This tranquil start provides the perfect prelude to the thrilling game drives that await on the following day, where you’ll encounter Tanzania’s remarkable wildlife and national parks.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast around 07:15 AM, we start a beautiful game drive to Tarangire National while carrying lunch boxes.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds. The park comprises various landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna, with the Tarangire River winding its way through the parklands. We may have the experience of seeing a lion stalking its prey or leopards observing their surroundings from the trees above. Once all the game drives are complete, we drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
