Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your safari starts in Kigali with an early morning pick up by your driver-guide. Enjoy a scenic drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills towards the Uganda border, crossing at Katuna Border. After immigration clearance, continue into southwestern Uganda with beautiful views of terraced landscapes and local communities.

You will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Arrive at your luxury lodge in time for check-in and relaxation. Spend the evening unwinding as you prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Gorilla Trekking Experience and Return back to Kigali

After an early breakfast at your lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing by park rangers on trekking rules. You will then enter the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek may take a few hours depending on their location, but the experience is truly rewarding.

Once found, you will spend one magical hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat as they feed, play, and interact. After the trek, return to the lodge for refreshments before starting your journey back to Kigali via Katuna Border, marking the end of your safari.
