Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading toward Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. The drive takes approximately 2–3 hours, offering beautiful views of rural Tanzania, Maasai villages, and open savannah landscapes.

Upon arrival, you will begin your first game drive through the park. Tarangire is rich in wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and various antelope species. The Tarangire River serves as a vital water source, attracting animals throughout the year, making wildlife viewing both easy and exciting.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by nature and breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, continue exploring different sections of the park, spotting more wildlife and taking in the iconic African landscape.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the Ngorongoro Highlands, offering spectacular views and a glimpse into Tanzania’s diverse ecosystems.

As you enter the Serengeti, you’ll notice the landscape transform into vast, endless plains stretching as far as the eye can see. The Serengeti is home to one of the richest wildlife populations in Africa and is famous for the Great Migration.

You will enjoy a game drive en route to your accommodation, spotting animals such as lions, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. A picnic lunch will be served during the journey.

Arrive at your lodge or camp in the late afternoon, followed by dinner and overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 3

Today is dedicated to a full exploration of the Serengeti. After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across different regions of the park.

The Serengeti offers incredible opportunities to witness predators in action, including lions stalking prey, cheetahs sprinting across the plains, and leopards resting in acacia trees. Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras move in search of fresh grazing land.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild while surrounded by nature. Your experienced guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing spots based on recent sightings.

In the late afternoon, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before heading toward the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic natural wonders.

The drive takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the scenery changes from open plains to lush highlands. Upon arrival at the crater rim, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the crater below.

Check in at your lodge located near the crater rim and spend the evening relaxing while enjoying the cool highland climate. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

On your final day, you will enjoy a relaxing and cultural experience with a visit to Materuni Waterfalls, located at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

After breakfast, drive to Materuni village, where you will be welcomed by the local Chagga community. Begin a guided walk through lush green landscapes, passing coffee farms and banana plantations.

The hike to Materuni Waterfalls is scenic and rewarding, leading you to a spectacular waterfall cascading into a natural pool. You can take a refreshing swim or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

After the hike, participate in a traditional coffee-making experience, where you will learn how coffee is grown, processed, and prepared from scratch while enjoying local songs and dances.

Later in the afternoon, return to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari and cultural adventure.
