Day 1

Begin your day with a pick-up from your accommodation for a full-day hiking adventure on Table Mountain. Choose from a variety of trails suited to your energy level and interests:

India Venster Trail (~3.5hrs) – Scramble along rocky paths with breathtaking city and ocean views. Spot Dassies, Sunbirds, and Starlings as you navigate this child-friendly route.

Kasteelspoort (~5hrs) – Enjoy panoramic vistas of the 12 Apostles and Lion’s Head, with a scenic breakfast stop. Observe local wildlife including Tahrs and Caracal.

Lion’s Head Sunrise/Sunset (~3.5hrs) – Take in Table Mountain, Robben Island, and the Atlantic from this iconic peak. Optional challenging route with chains for adventurers.

Platteklip Gorge (~3hrs) – Direct ascent with striking city views and fynbos diversity. Cable Car descent recommended.

Skeleton Gorge (~6hrs) – Start at Kirstenbosch Gardens, hike through lush Afromontane forest, and finish with a scenic descent via Cable Car or Nursery Ravine.
