Begin your unforgettable one-day gorilla trekking adventure with an early 4:20 AM departure from Kigali. Enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills to Volcanoes National Park, home to the majestic mountain gorillas. Upon arrival in Musanze, you’ll gather at the park headquarters for a thorough briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette. Accompanied by expert guides, you’ll trek through misty bamboo and Hagenia forests, with each step bringing you closer to a gorilla family. Once found, you’ll spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, savor a delicious lunch in a local Musanze hotel. In the afternoon, we begin the return drive to Kigali, where you’ll arrive by late afternoon or evening, ending a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife journey.
