Arrival And Transfer To Lake Mburo National Park

Depending on the arrival time, you will be welcomed and received by our driver guide who will give you a briefing and then embark on a drive to Lake Mburo National Park. This will approximately take you 4- 5 hours on the road. A Stop at the Equator for photos and souvenir will be made and later proceed to the guest lodge for check in.

Start the day with a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, spotting zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, and leopards. After lunch, enjoy a two-hour boat cruise on Lake Mburo, observing hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight, preparing for cultural exploration the following day.

Rwenjeru Community and Igongo Cultural Centre

Rwenjeru Community and Igongo Cultural Centre

Visit the Rwenjeru community campsite to experience pastoral life, including milking cows and cattle keeping. Continue to Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch and a guided tour of ethnographic collections.
Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight, blending wildlife and cultural experiences.

Join a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger for a guided safari walk on foot in Lake Mburo National Park. Observe wildlife up close while stretching your legs and capturing photos.
After the walk, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to prepare for the next day’s gorilla tracking adventure.

Day 5

Gorilla Tracking & Batwa Experience

Gorilla Tracking & Batwa Experience

After breakfast you will be given parked lunch and later proceed to the UWA headquarters for a briefing. And before this, you will be entertained through songs by the batwa community dancing group. Then you will later embark on a once in a lifetime experience of gorilla tracking. This will take you 2–6 hours locating gorillas and one hour observing them closely. After the experience, you will take a break and have lunch then return to the headquarters for certificates.
Return to the guest lodge to relax and go and enjoy the Batwa community experience, learning about their culture, music, and traditions before overnight at the lodge.
