Arusha to Serengeti National Park for Game Drive

Transfer Arusha – Serengeti: 5 hours
Your journey begins with a pick-up from your lodge or the airport, followed by a scenic drive into the Central Serengeti Park. Along the way, you’ll carry packed lunch boxes to enjoy during your full-day adventure in the park.

Once inside Serengeti, you’ll set off on exciting game drives across its vast plains, searching for the park’s incredible wildlife. The Serengeti is world-famous for its massive migrating herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes, a spectacle unlike any other. Beyond the herds, the park is also home to an impressive population of predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, that play a vital role in maintaining the balance of this rich ecosystem.

After your game drive experience, you will be transferred to your camp/lodge, where you can unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the beauty of the Serengeti.

You'll begin your day with an early wake-up to experience magical morning game drives in Serengeti National Park. This is one of the best times to explore the savannah, as wildlife is most active in the cool hours of the morning. You’ll have the chance to witness the park’s breathtaking landscapes and encounter its remarkable wildlife, from the vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes to the big predators: lions, leopards, and cheetahs engaged in the eternal circle of life.

In the afternoon, you will continue your journey toward Karatu village, where your accommodation is located near the Ngorongoro Gate. Staying here offers a unique advantage: the next morning, you will descend into the Crater at first light, maximizing your chances of observing a wide variety of animals while they are still most active.
