Windhoek to Etosha National Park

Today your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Windhoek, at around 10h00 am, you begin your journey straight to Etosha National Park. Please make sure your flight arrives no later than 14h00.

You will arrive in the early afternoon hours, as this will be a 4/5-hour drive. Upon arrival, you will enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Etosha National Park Game Drive

Today, your whole day will be spent in the park, exploring the national park in the hope of finding the wild animals, with your guide. The wildlife of Etosha is often at the waterholes, and it is best to plan your game viewing along the routes of the waterholes. The norm is early morning and late afternoon game drives. At midday, you can sit and stake out a waterhole. Numerous animals still come and drink in the midday heat.

After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge and rest.

Etosha National Park to Windhoek

Today, after breakfast, you will drive back to Windhoek.

Your guide will then drop you off at the airport (if you have a flight departing today), hotel, or guesthouse of your choice.

NB! If you are departing today, please make sure, no flight departing before 16h00 shall be booked, just in case there might be any issues on the road back.
