Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up in Entebbe as you travel southwest towards Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy the changing scenery as you leave the city behind and pass through Uganda’s countryside, local communities and rolling landscapes.
Arrive at Lake Mburo in the afternoon and check into your lodge. After some time to relax, head out for an evening game drive as the golden light begins to settle over the savannah. Keep watch for zebras, impalas, buffaloes, warthogs, Uganda kobs and, with luck, other wildlife becoming active in the cooler hours.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After the experience, begin your journey towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Travel through beautiful countryside and highland landscapes, passing local communities along the way. Today brings one of the most unforgettable experiences of your safari—gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering the ancient rainforest with experienced ranger guides.
Trek through lush vegetation and misty forest trails in search of your assigned gorilla family. Once you find them, enjoy an unforgettable hour observing their natural behaviour, family interactions and playful youngsters.
After the trek, continue towards Queen Elizabeth National Park through the spectacular Ishasha sector. Enjoy a light game drive along the way, keeping watch for elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and, with luck, the famous tree-climbing lions resting in the branches.

Wake up early for an exciting morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Explore the savannah while wildlife is most active, looking out for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, antelopes, lions and a variety of bird species.
Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax before your afternoon adventure.
Later, embark on a boat safari along the famous Kazinga Channel, one of the highlights of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Cruise between Lakes George and Edward as hippos gather in the water, crocodiles bask along the banks and elephants come down to drink. The shoreline is also alive with colourful waterbirds, creating wonderful opportunities for photography.

Continue towards Kibale, passing through lush countryside, local communities and changing landscapes. As you approach the forest, the scenery becomes increasingly green and tropical.

Chimpanzee Trekking & Community Experience
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering Kibale Forest, famous for its remarkable population of primates. Follow experienced guides through the lush forest in search of habituated chimpanzee families.
Listen for their calls echoing through the trees and watch the canopy for movement. Once the chimpanzees are located, spend time observing their fascinating behaviour, interactions and movements in their natural habitat.
After lunch, enjoy a community experience around the Kibale area. Meet local people, learn about their daily lives and discover how communities benefit from tourism and conservation. Depending on the experience arranged, you may encounter local traditions, crafts, farming or other aspects of everyday Ugandan life.

Reflect on the incredible experiences of the past week—from walking among wildlife in Lake Mburo and meeting mountain gorillas in Bwindi to exploring Ishasha, cruising the Kazinga Channel and tracking chimpanzees in Kibale.
