Shoebill Tracking & Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Your journey begins very early in the morning with a transfer to Mabamba Swamp for the shoebill tracking experience. You will explore the swamp in a traditional canoe, guided by local experts in search of this rare and fascinating bird. The calm waters and birdlife make this a truly special start to your safari.

After the experience, you will proceed to Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy the scenic countryside as you head west.

Arrival will be in the evening, followed by check-in, relaxation, and dinner at your lodge.

After breakfast, head out for a guided walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. This is a unique chance to walk among wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, and antelopes an exciting and close-to-nature experience.

After the walk, begin your journey to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in southwestern Uganda. The drive is long but very scenic, with beautiful landscapes and local life along the way.

Arrive in the evening, check in, and relax as you prepare for the highlight of your trip.

Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing before heading into the forest for your gorilla trekking experience.

The trek can take a few hours, but once you meet the gorillas, the experience is truly unforgettable. Spending one hour with them in their natural habitat is magical and deeply moving.

After the trek, return for lunch and then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Surrounded by rolling hills and dotted with islands, it is the perfect place to relax after your adventure.
