Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. If time allows, you may opt for a short detour to Arusha City for a brief sightseeing experience and any last-minute preparations for your safari starting the next day.

In the evening, you will receive a detailed briefing about your upcoming tour. You’ll also have the option to visit Kilima Moto for a light hike, where you can enjoy stunning sunset views and ease into your adventure.

Day 2

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at 8:30 a.m., you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its large flocks of flamingos and its elusive tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a scenic game drive through the park, where you’ll encounter a rich variety of birdlife and wildlife. With a bit of luck, you may even spot the famous lions resting in the trees.

During the drive, you will visit the hippo pool for a closer view of these impressive animals, as well as the park’s hot springs. Along the way, keep an eye out for buffaloes, wildebeests, warthogs, monkeys, vultures, eagles, and many other species that inhabit this diverse ecosystem.

After the game drive, you will head to your accommodation in Karatu at Farm of Dreams Lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 3

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Karatu and drive to Serengeti National Park, a journey of approximately six hours including scenic stops along the way. The route passes through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will pause for about 20 minutes to enjoy panoramic views and take photos of the highlands.

Along the way, you will have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village (20–45 minutes), where you can explore the culture of the Maasai people and learn about their customs, traditions, and way of life.

Upon arrival in the Serengeti, famous for the Great Migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras, you will head to the Seronera area in central Serengeti, known for excellent year-round wildlife viewing. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive into the evening, where you may spot predators and other wildlife while experiencing a breathtaking sunset over the vast plains.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, where you may spot a wide variety of wildlife during the most active hours of the day. Return to your accommodation in the afternoon for lunch and packing before departure.

Later, proceed with a game drive as you exit the Serengeti, heading toward Ngorongoro Highlands up to Farm of Dreams Lodge, located few steps outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes approximately three hours and offers scenic views along the way.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater, Arusha Region

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater at around 6:15 a.m. for a game drive in search of the elusive black rhino. While rhinos are among the hardest animals to spot, the crater floor offers excellent wildlife viewing, making it easier to see a wide variety of species in this unique ecosystem.

After lunch, continue with a game drive before ascending the crater in the afternoon. You will then prepare for your journey back to Arusha, bringing your safari adventure to a memorable close.
