You will start your day with an early breakfast at your accommodation, after which the game drives begin. Starting early maximizes wildlife sightings and captures peak morning activity. Your professional guide will take you to prime viewing areas where you may spot early risers such as lions, elephants, and various antelope species, as well as abundant birdlife. You will explore diverse habitats including riverbanks and acacia woodlands, with special attention to Big Cat zones for possible leopard and lion encounters. You will spend a few hours exploring Amboseli National Park on a guided game drive before departing for Nairobi in the evening. You will begin with visiting park parts where you can spot animals that you may have not seen as you search for the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros alongside wildebeest, zebras, impalas, and gazelles roaming the open plains. Your guide will take you through prime wildlife areas and near water sources where animals gather, offering excellent viewing and photo opportunities.
You will also visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park, swamps, and Kilimanjaro. Along the way, expect to see large herds of elephants, diverse birdlife, and other grazing wildlife across the grasslands and dry lake beds. After the game drive, you will begin your journey back to Nairobi in the evening, concluding your Amboseli safari experience.
