1-Day Ngorongoro Day Trip

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Known as Africa's "Garden of Eden," the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy spectacular scenery, a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, and excellent opportunities to spot flamingos, hyenas, jackals, and a variety of birdlife. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Arusha, bringing your memorable Tanzanian safari to a close.
