Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha airport followed with game drive in Tarangire National Park

At around 6:00 am (pick-up time depending on your hotel location in Zanzibar), our driver will transfer you to the airport for your 8:00 am flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, you will meet your driver-guide and proceed to Tarangire National Park, approximately 1.5 hours away, while enjoying insights about Arusha’s history and the Maasai culture along the way.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its rich biodiversity, especially large elephant herds, and diverse landscapes ranging from seasonal swamps to open savanna, with the Tarangire River flowing through the park. During your game drive, you may have the chance to see lions hunting or leopards resting in the trees.

You will enjoy a packed lunch inside the park before continuing with your afternoon game drive. Around 4:00 pm, you will exit the park and drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Game Drive Ngorongoro Crater and Flight back to Zanzibar

After breakfast at 6:00 am, you will drive to Ngorongoro for an early game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater. The early drive offers the best views of the crater and the most active wildlife.

This park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, and is one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. It is home to about 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see many animals in a short time.

The game drive will end in the afternoon, allowing for a convenient transfer back to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, your driver will take you back to your hotel in Zanzibar.
