Your adventure begins early in the morning from Your Location as you board the SGR train at 06:00 from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver-guide and transferred on a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Mikumi National Park. At Camp Bastian Mikumi, you will enjoy a relaxing breakfast before continuing your journey to Udzungwa Mountains National Park for an exciting hiking experience. With your packed lunch, you will explore the lush tropical forest, discover breathtaking waterfalls, and enjoy the rich natural beauty and biodiversity of the area. After a rewarding day of hiking, you will return to Camp Bastian Mikumi in the evening for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast check out Camp Bastian, depart with your packed lunch for a full-day game drive in the beautiful Mikumi National Park, known for its wide open plains and abundant wildlife. Throughout the day, you will explore different areas of the park, giving you excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush surrounded by nature, as your guide shares insights about the wildlife and environment. The game drive continues until sunset, offering magical views of the African savannah before you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will check out from Mikumi Bandas and visit a nearby Maasai village for a unique cultural experience, where you will learn about traditional Maasai customs, lifestyle, and enjoy authentic interactions with the community. After the visit, you will proceed to Morogoro to catch the 09:40 SGR train back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival at 11:50, our driver will be waiting to transfer you to your preferred location, marking the end of your memorable safari experience.
